Vanwege de maatregelen die de regering heeft genomen om de verspreiding van COVID-19 tegen te gaan, rijzen er veel vragen over de export van goederen vanuit België en binnen de Europese Unie. Het Agentschap voor Buitenlandse Handel informeert en actualiseert Belgische bedrijven regelmatig over bepaalde regels en richtlijnen in de vorm van "legal alerts".

The coronavirus crisis has highlighted the challenge of protecting the health of the population whilst avoiding disruptions to the free movement of persons, and the delivery of goods and essential services across Europe. “Verbod van uitvoer van medische persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen zonder uitvoervergunning - crisistoestand die het coronavirus veroorzaakt, zal de Algemene Administratie Douane & Accijnzen (AAD&A) zeer strikt toezien op dit verbod.
