Didier Malherbe has been a member of the Agency's Board of Directors since 2013, as a representative of the private sector. For 15 years he was Managing Director of UCB Belgium and prior to that, he was Director at the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (1996-2006). He is the founder of the European Business Summit (2000) and the Salon de l'Etudiant (1988). Didier Malherbe succeeds Mrs Annemie Neyts-Uyttebroeck, who has chaired the Agency for 18 years, since its creation in 2003. The BFTA is extremely grateful to Mrs Neyts for her support and outstanding Presidency.

The Board also elected Mrs Claire Tillekaerts as Vice-Chair, replacing Mr Pierre Rion.
