#BEmissionNOR (16-19/06) - DAY 2 - The second day of the Belgian Economic Mission to Norway started with the Belgium - Norway Energy Summit at the Oslo Opera House where HRH Princess Astrid attended the seminar on Industrial Decarbonization. Afterwards, an official meeting with The Government Pension Fund Global was held at Norges Bank. HRH Princess Astrid attended the Energy Lunch in presence of HE Terje Aasland, Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy. The lunch aimed at highlighting how Belgium and Norway can join forces for a net-zero energy transition. An Elia scale model of Princess Elisabeth Island was exhibited and, last but not least, two agreements were signed: a Joint Statement on Energy Cooperation in the North Sea and an MoU on the laying and operation of a pipeline for transportation of CO2 from Belgium to Norway. In the afternoon, HRH Princess Astrid attended the Business and Human Right Panel Discussion at the Nobel Peace center, as well as the ICONS Summit on e-inclusive education, which is the third international e-learning conference powered by D-teach. The Belgian Official Reception welcomed approximately 650 guests at Sentralen and concluded the successful second day of the mission.
