On the first day of the Belgian Economic Mission to Norway, HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium attended the Belgium & Norway Life Sciences Day, during which the future of health and biotech was explored. She also visited the Oslo Science City Innovation Ecosystem and participated in the traditional Power Lunch. In the afternoon, the famous Belgian know-how and technologies in the field of Equestrian were honoured with a jumping demonstration by the grand-daughter of King Harald V of Norway on a Belgian horse. Afterwards, an afternoon tea with the Crown Prince of Norway was held at the Royal Palace. This was followed by an event focussing on Belgian strawberries and other delicious Belgian products. In the evening, Circularity and Craft & Design were promoted which marked the end of the first day of the mission.
